life rolls on – general musings and a shout out!
This is just a general life update so if that bores you move
on.
* We had a really rough day at the Dojo
today. Sensei
is not really very happy with Kimiko
or I at the moment. The issue seems to be push-ups,
or the lack thereof. We will be working really seriously on improving and I
think it will all work out fine. If he decides to move Kimiko to the regular
class down from the advanced that will suck seriously but we will survive that
as well. I will wind up teaching on Fridays I think if that happens so I can
keep her company and support her. If anyone wants to drop
her a note of encouragement that would be nice – she is working really hard
on this and it will be a real bummer if she doesn’t get recognition for it.
* When we got home tonight we had an amazing sight waiting for us, Tatsumi
put on something of a killer show on the webcam
and it really lifted our spirits. The girl is a real treasure – thank you, we
needed it!
* Bad news and that doesn’t end too badly. Michelle
got hit by a car but it looks like she is just fine aside from a few stitches. Michelle
is without a doubt one of the prettiest
examples of femininity I have come across, and she sure seems like a sweet gal
who has a lot
of fans! A disaster narrowly averted to be sure!
That’s all for now – meeting with a client tomorrow so I am going to get some
