let’s catch up together – a whole ‘lotta’ topics
It might interest you, or not, to know that these posts are generally ‘real
time’, I write ’em and post ’em right away. Why is that important? Well… it’s
not except for this… when you see the little timestamp at the bottom, you know
I was up @ 3am ๐
The girls are doing just fine, Kimiko
is recovering from her flu and might be able to participate int he class at the
dojo tomorrow and it looks like Tatsumi
has her flu pretty much knocked out. Send those good vibes for Kimiko and her
push-ups!
The secret project is having some of it’s normal problems…
but things might be looking up. Obviously we are upset that we missed our window
a while back about getting out in time to be on the edge of some of the online
game craze but we have walked smack dap into the opportunity of the century.
There is a movement afoot internally to take a long hard look at the investor
demo we have been hatching for a while and give it a serious facelift. Ok… a
total rebuild. I’ll give you three hints about the lines of what we are
thinking… [1][2][3].
Some charity is having a cow trying to find a way to take my
domain away. It seems that Birthright International has birthright.org
for their use, you can
see their registration if you want. A company I am involved in has owned birthright.com
for a while now, and you can see
our registration info.
Now, obviously I knew this and they have coexisted with me since
1997… why is it they start complaining now?
"…persons who attempt to access Birthright’s web site using the "birthright.com" domain name are likely to be and in fact have been confused with respect to the affiliation between the parties. Upon connecting to "birthright.com" web site that links to your "soulhuntre.com" web site, which includes discussions about rape and links to adult materials, persons seeking Birthright’s services or information concerning Birthright’s services may become discouraged and search no further, to their and Birthright’s detriment. Accordingly, on behalf of Birthright, we demand that the …. This letter is without prejudice to any action that may be taken or |
I especially like the bit at the end – the one that says even if I were to
somehow roll over and play puppy on this one they can still sue me in the future
if the mood hits. In a word, "no way in hell".
On the topic of babes (we got here from pregnancy -> sex
-> sexy -> babes) this is probably a good time to share with you some of
my current open browser windows, so you can see what the soul has been surfing
of late… you might even notice a late night trend:
An amazingly hot PC game designer: | Killcreek |
The girls of the new ‘Charlie’s Angels’: | A threesome for dreaming of… |
The chicks in one of the movies I >didn’t< get to see: |
Anything but ugly… |
Foxes on TV: | sigh… |
Maxim’s "Babe Off" competition: | who’s on top? |
Money would be next on our round up list (babes -> money or
money -> babes, you pick) – it seems Microsoft isn’t paying any federal taxes
this year. You heard right – and I support it. Before you get your collective
skivvies in a twist, go read about it in the original
article. Of course, if you want to see fear and panic, go read the reaction
on slashdot.
Babes and money bring me back to the topic of things I would
pay lots for… and Jessica
Alba is the answer to that riddle. Almost painfully hot when she is standing
still, once she is in motion she will cut off half your blood supply for a solid
hour. The shape of her face and her eyes do it for me most strongly, though that
amazing body doesn’t hurt. Watch an episode of "Dark Angel" and tell
me if I am wrong. If ever there was a neck begging for a nice tight collar…
You might as well see what some others
are saying about the show and then go take a long
look at Jessica including a mini-interview. A little more info on her is
available at her everything
node, as well as the node
for Dark Angel.
Sadly this link
should not tell you anything about me, but it does.
The web contract we have been working on is giving us trouble –
not so much technically just in the sense that all software development projects
have troubles. Necessarily if your building it then it hasn’t been done just
like that before or you would just buy it. If the product is too expensive to
buy that should be a hint that writing it for a lot less will be difficult. So
it’s running slow, and our client is a little nervous… hopefully we can find a
way to resolve that or help him find a developer he would prefer to work with.
By the way, this post happened over the course of an hour and a half, though
I was doing other stuff for some of it ๐
