a bunch of stuff – see ma! i’ve been working!
Well, I am going to sleep. But I figured I would mention some of the things
I did today…
updated the document for "contract x" – cutting the amount fo code
that needs to be written for a major feature by almost 6,000 lines. I know,
I am a god. Best of all, it leaves our way open for a great set of enhanced
features easily. I love it when you can trade hours worth of planning for days
or weeks worth of coding.
fired off contact letters to 3 programmers to help with "contract x"
and one full on development house who we may be able to offload the coding on
in it’s entirety to a single team.
worked on an updated personal resume.
looked over Tatsumi’s resume…
I think I will need to help her use the right TLA’s (three letter acronym).
installed zonealarm
on the newly loaded computers here. I cannot reccomend this thing too highly.
Get it. Now. If your wondering why I am so impressed with it, you might consider
that it could have stopped this
problem.
brought dotpublishing.com
and thirty-days.com
back up on the net.
sketched out a redesign for both of them in my mind.
finally put SSH
in on our webservers
and switched away from unencrypted telnet. I know, way too long in comming.
The only problem is affording a license for SecureCRT. A well, it is worth it…
my recent researches reminded me how inadequate telnet is, take a look at the
article
to see what I mean.
