Ok, this is a short one. Just keeping you all informed a bit.

We delivered our project today, on time. Granted, there are revisions
comming over the next week or so but considering the client was weeks
late getting most of the content approvals to us we did a damn fine job. So
we relaxed some.

One of our cats is sick, she was vomiting a little and not eating so
we took her to the vet and they are watching her overnight. We will know more
in the morning but she might be a bit blocked. There is an earring missing from
a dresser here – she might have swallowed it. I am hoping she’ll be fine – the
vet we use is really good.

Kimiko
and I
made a last minute trip down to spend the evening with Tatsumi, just
to get centered again and kind of re-connect. This project has been rough because
for most of it Tatsumi
and I were working in two unconnected areas of dotPublishing,
and that interfered with some of the synergy we usually enjoy. It threw the
whole team off a bit – and I know Kimiko
could feel the stress as well. I think we have it all cool now, it was a nice
evening.

I am going to re-load my box in the morning. The copy of advanced server
I put on here was a RC2 version, pre-release from before Win2K was officially
mastered. It seems like that is the cause of the problems these last few days.
I found a fix
listed in the Microsoft
Knowledge
Base
that seems to have solved my problem so I could probably keep
running on this copy. However, I want to keep working with the official version
so I am going to reload again now while it is painless (mostly).

Interestingly enough, I have been digging the Switchblade
Symphony
album Tatsumi lent me. It’s pretty cool. A quick search didn’t
find an official page I did find a nice
fan page
and also a listing to Tre’Lux,
the personal project of Tina Root complete with a message
from Tina! There is also a entry
for them
in Everything2.
Here are the lyrics
to one of the tunes.

I am hoping to trick Flagg into doing a radio show with me today – so
stay tuned

Well, as always – lots more to say but very little time. Night!
