Whew, what a day. Slept yesterday (Monday) from 7:30 AM or so till like 12. Got up and worked. I was trying to get back to sleep but it didn’t work out. By the time I was done teaching at the dojo from 6:00 till 8:00 I had my class till 9:15pm. Came home, had dinner and crashed till 3:30. Wound up getting up then and working till now (7:30). I am going to try and sleep 2/3 more hours now.
Anyway, the big news is that a great person actually bought me the Victoria II character from Daz3d. This rocks totally!
I did some test renders of her, please pardon the pose, lighting and textures – these are just fast ones with default settings (Asian variant on the face somewhat). [1][2].
I will gladly than them in public if they give permission to be known – otherwise they are just a wonderful human! This totally made my day.
Both my shoulders hurt. The left one is a few weeks old now but the right one is new. I am not sure what the deal was but it is starting to worry me a little. Ah well, I’ll deal ๐
In other news… it turns out I may be plunged intot he middle of a First Amendment on the internet battle. Complete with worrying about FBI search warrants and the like. A good friend of mine is considering being a test case for Internet obscenity laws. Since we are closely associated this may well be a issue that effects me. I thought about it and talked it over with the girls and we agree that some things are worth the trouble – if my friend decides to fight we will stand with her… loudly and publicly.
Oh – and I figured out how I wanted to interface blogger with xml and old archive posts. So my archives will be up in a day or two.
Anyway – off for a nap!
