today i consider myself – the luckiest… blah blah blah
Well, I am all along for the weekend. Kimiko
and Tatsumi are off at
the MTV 2001 Movie Awards
taping because Kimiko is the luckiest human on the planet. They get a shopping spree, a makeover, cool parties with famous people
and they get to attend the awards live. Pretty cool stuff and a well deserved
lucky break.
Anyway, as I dropped them off at the airport and I headed back to the car
they were watching me from the railing and making fun of me in a cool way –
asking if I had my car keys or if I knew where the car was. The funny thing is –
these are not meaningless questions. I am pretty absent minded if left to
myself. Then it hit me…
How lucky I am to have these two people in my life. Amazingly lucky to be
cared for like that – to know that we can all joke about my being a Disney
character professor and that they will work to keep me on track. It is a pain
int he ass being without them… I don’t know where stuff is and I always feel
like I am forgetting things. And I miss them. Even though it has only been a
little while
It was a good time – we were laughing and the girls were smiling. We all knew
how much I would miss them both and we all knew they would miss me. It was…
close. It was happy…
It was wonderful.
I had a smile on my face all day thinking about it – in fact I am still
smiling. I hope they have the time of their lives and them come home and tell me
all about it… I would rather see the smiles on their faces than meet all the
celebrities I can think of.
I mean, that’s what Daddy’s do ๐
