it’s monday – and the girls are coming home!
This is a good thing.
I had an interesting weekend – I got a lot of grunt work done,
not all of it in the areas I really wanted to get done – but it had to happen
and I am much further along for having done it. I have managed to vastly
increase not only my 3D skills, but get a much better feeling for the work
needed for one of our projects.
I spent some time with Flagg
and we ‘cross trained’ – he taught me how he looks at faces and I showed him
what the rendering software can bring to his/our work. As a result, the
character I am working on for our secret project looks much much better.
Oh yeah, and I got to be there when a pregnant person’s water broke. Her
quote was "I think my water just broke". Then she wandered off into
the house trailing some sort of fluid (slime!). Cool, odd, scary and oddly
amusing. Best of luck to them, they are cool people!

Tomorrow (today?) is busy. Figure I wake up at 2 pm (8 hours of sleep) and go
to Tatsumi‘s
place to check her cats. I spend 30 minutes there with them so that’s 2 or 2.5
hours total, I am back by 5pm and I am supposed to teach at my dojo at 6:00pm
though if I need to I can skip the 6 and teach the 7:00pm. Then my class from
8:00pm to 9:30 or so, home and snack so I can head out to the airport at
11:00pm to pick up the girls
at midnight. We will spend Monday night at Tatsumi’s.
On Tuesday Flagg is giving an interrogation seminar at TES
that I am hoping to help out with (and learn from) and then it’s Wednesday.
Class on Thursday of course.
And I owe Tatsumi and anniversary date – though I promise you that is one
"chore" I am looking forward too!
Ok… must sleep now.
