I am getting ready to have to reboot my machine (yes, I can plan it days in
advance because
this system simply doesn’t crash on it’s own) and I looked to see that I
have 19 copies of my browser open and 22 pending email replies. So I have to
clean it off.
For the email that means finishing my posts to various mailing lists and for
the browser I found that most of those pages were things I wanted to comment on
here.

Dream Silicon is a website with some interesting works and a moderately
cool use of Flash in the interface. It’s not perfect but it is an enjoyable
visit and shows some of what Flash is flexible enough to do. Oh yeah, it’s
mostly a virtual babe site.

The
Cinnamon Challenge 2001 [CC2K1] is just damn funny. Reminiscent of the
best days of
Bad Candy. Some poor fool winds up with a mouthful of Cinnamon and a
lifetime of remembered horror.

While we are talking about edible horror, take a
look at
The Tamarind Show bad food and the resulting horror, in full motion video!
If your not sure why this is bad, look at the
Tamarind commentary at
Bad Candy. This is closely related to what is known as the "Sabroso
incident". Not convinced? Well let’s look at a Bad Candy excerpt:
"My tongue instantaneously wilted, and my
eyes began to water. I made two feeble attempts to bite through the brittle,
brine-encrusted outer layers before my survival instincts kicked in, causing
my jaw to lock open and the Sabroso chunk to involuntarily fall out of my
mouth and down the drain, accompanied by a large volume of drool." –full

The Filthy Critic is not a big fan of a film I secretly suspect will be
amusing to inflict on my friends on DVD.
Black Knight was taken out back and beaten with a stick dipped in sarcasm.

The
MAXIMOG looks like the geed SUV of someone’s wet dreams. Modular and
rugged though a bit short on looks. You just have to check out the
trailer and optional
add on vehicles.
Slashdot discusses it as well, and yeah allt he normal eco freak bitching
about SUV’s and gas mileage is there.

What is the world coming too anyway when
Microsoft does something so right it gets
defended on Slashdot? This is becoming an interesting trend. In times past
the "editors" on Slashdot could get away with any stupid, ill informed comment
as long as it was a slander against Microsoft… but those days might be over.
Take a look and see how many folks over there seem to like WindowsXP.

A weblog I just came across today has this story
to relate about "The
dumbest girls in the world". Very funny!

Someone who has a real problem with Star Trek
posted this tasty morsel:
The Fascist Ideology of Star Trek Militarism, Collectivism, & Atheism.
-
The folks over on Metafilter are having a
thread discussing the
arrest of a 9 year old girl on the charges of molesting younger children.
It just gets sillier all the time.

Shock #1: A female sporting coach was having an
affair with a female student.
Shock #2: Just
reading about it is really hot!
-
While we are talking about hot things, is it just
me or is anyone else disappointed that professional cheerleaders are so amazed
by this. It turns out that (gasp!) football players in the NFL occasionally
found a way to
look into the locker rooms of cheerleaders. Of course here are lawsuits.

A while back I asked you to support
Sarah Jane in her bid to become the most downloaded woman on the net.
Well, it looks like it worked. Go look.

Back to computers, it looks like a
really sexy Windows ad will never come to the US.

Maya Angelou rises to the challenge of writing for Hallmark. I have
personally never read anything by her, but some people I know think she is
great. The folks over at Metafilter
don’t seem to think so; apparently she is not really popular in some
circles. For now, I’ll just say that "I don’t know poetry".

Exotic, pretty girls. Just go look.
