I found out some really cool things about
PayPal today. A really cool person send me some money via PayPal to help me
get the 3D stuff I needed. Pretty cool just to start with since I am not a
cute
young girl. Anyway, the money showed up and I thought about how to get my
hands on it to make the purchase.
- I could just transfer it into my bank account, and buy the stuff myself in
a day or two when it all clears. But that seemed like a lot of waiting. I am
an impatient man sometimes 🙂 - I could transfer the money to
Kimiko. She has her PayPal account in some sort of ‘turbo mode’ and it
credits to her account overnight. But that still meant I couldn’t do it till
tomorrow. Oh yeah, it’s called a premier account. She is helping me get mine
upgraded. It’s easy it seems. - I could use a company account to buy the stuff, then pay the company back.
The problem is that if the company had the $$ I wouldn’t be in this mess 🙂
Then it happened, Kimiko mentioned that I might as well just use my
PayPal account directly. I was like all "what?" and she was like totally "you
heard me" and I was like totally "I heard you bitch…"; you get the picture.
Anyway, it turns out if you have money in your PayPal account you can buy
stuff online with a temporary "virtual" MasterCard. This is just awesomely cool.
So now I am an even bigger fan of the whole PayPal thing.
Oh, did I mention that if you
sign up for PayPal using this link I get $5? So I like them even MORE. And I
get to put one of these cool ‘donate’ buttons online. I like that 🙂
