A fast note, clearing out some more links…
On Being the Digital Job – A darkly amusing account of what must have been a
very, very bad week.
"So that’s where I stand now. You know that phrase "one thing
after another," well I’m going to have it inscribed on my tombstone. If one
more thing goes wrong, I’m probably moving in with the Amish. I have a working
PC, occasional internet, and I have to use Exchange through work to read my
email (which can be an excruciating experience). But the carpet sure looks
nice, and my new PC sure is shiny." –

Critic – I haven’t seent he movie, but the chick looks kind of hot. But how
can you NOT like any review that has a quote like this:
"In this magical fairyland, the school has so much funding it can afford
to drug-test its swim team, swimmers can miraculously shave five seconds off
their 50-meter times in one week, and the city newspaper gives more press to
swim meets than to elections or murders." –
The Filthy Critic – I really liked TripleX. I like Vin and I thought it was
pretty fun… but it wasn’t Shakespeare (and that’s probably good…). Anyway,
Filthy didn’t like it much…
"Diesel lives his life one Mountain Dew commercial at a time until
National Security operative Samuel L. Jackson kidnaps him and recruits him as
a secret agent. Jackson has a lot of facial scars, and Diesel has a lot of fun
calling him Scarface and Frankenstein. Isn’t that cool? Pretty fucking
clever." –
