It’s very strange. On Saturday I went out to
LensCrafters and picked up a new set of glasses. That is, my first new pair
after more than 8 years as far as I can tell, I really can’t remember. Anyway,
they feel really good, I like the shape and size and since my prescription
hasn’t changed at all in that time I don’t have to get used to a new vision
level.
The problem is, I think I don’t like the lenses themselves. I’m not sure yet
but I think I am going to get them tinted. Something around 20% graduating down
to 0% in the lower quarter of the lenses. I know that a lot of folks tell me
they like being able to see my eyes, but to be honest with you I don’t think >I<
like them seeing my eyes. Given that I am usually looking at the body parts of
someone girlfriend I think I might prefer a bit more mystery.

do decide to get them changed.
