So far, so good. I went to a class on "Beginner Single Tail" that
actually turned out to be pretty useful for me in a fair number of ways:
I got to break in a fantastic whip that had been a present for me from Tatsumi
a long time ago. I have been working with it when I had the chance, but I spent
about an hour and a half working with it with my hands while the class went on
and that really loosened it up. Not cracking it mind you, I just got the chance
to work on the braid a little… turning it and rolling it and so on.
As an added bonus, the first single tail I had every gotten was resurrected.
i had been feeling like it was a little too "loose" to continue using
accurately because one of my stroke had developed to favor a slightly stiffer
whip. However, I learned a minor variation in stroke that works just fine for
looser whips… so now I have that one back in my arsenal.
All in all, well worth the time and trouble!
I have been watching the Girl2 cam to keep an eye on things at home and
it is really cool to watch Tatsumi while I am away… I get to get my [[through
the window]] thing going.
Anyway, time to go… I have to help Kimiko get ready for her class and
then get some lunch. In case you were one of the folks who knew my tooth had
been killing me, I put in some temporary filling material and it feels like it
is really going to help.
