Well, let’s take this one head on … I am a huge [[wp:T.A.T.u.]] fan. This
should come as no surprise really – go take a look at them. I mean OK, they
aren’t supermodels but they are damn cute and the music isn’t bad at all if you
have a sweet tooth for pop. And I do 🙂

Since they are going to be
in my area at a

local mall I figured I might take a moment to talk about

them. The specific information is new but obviously my general viewpoints
are all things I have discussed before. however, there is a lot of amusing stuff
in here, and not a little bit of illicit sexual innuendo.

Let’s be honest here

Pretty girls are good. Pretty girls together is better. Thus, bisexuality,
lesbianism and lesbian acts are a good thing. This little logic exercise is
one that is commonly demonstrated in the popular media, both adult oriented
and non.

Like a large segment of the population, I find attractive many physical
traits that are most commonly present in younger girls. Younger in this case
depends on the girl in question but can range from mid teens to early
twenties. You can shut down the gasping and stop reaching for the oxygen…
get a grip on yourself. I have and always will stay on the right side of the
law in this… but let’s not kid ourselves OK? Brittany was certainly hotter
than hell long before she turned 18, as was Natalie Portman and [[wp:The_Olsen_Twins|others]] that have been extremely popular.

What does it mean?

So then it doesn’t take a stroke of genius to put these things together and
make yourself a whole lot of money, but it does take a certain amount of balls
and a sort of all out [[wp:gonzo]] view of capitalistic enterprise. And I
admire that 🙂

Enter

t.A.t.U. (the capitalization changes so often it doesn’t matter). The
brainchild of  [[wp:Ivan Shapovalov]], a Russian promoter who was out to
put together a band. The short form is that he interviewed a lot of girls,
found Lena Katina and later added Yulia Volkova. The story goes that hey
either found out that they had been having a relationship or manufactured one
and the rest is pop history. The concept that they had an existing
relationship has some credibility because the girls were in the chorus [[wp:Neposedi]]
together before meeting Ivan.

They have been

making their way up the charts and there has been a predictably large
amount of outrage, scandal and publicity. It could certainly hardly have been
helped… they were 14 and 15 when the band was formed and the image of them
as lovers was already firmly in place at that time.

And the last thing the world can handle is the idea that young teen age
girls might be touching each other. Will civilization survive?

Of course, it will probably all end in a lawsuit someplace, and I wouldn’t
be shocked if Ivan doesn’t wind up going to jail for something
(because even if nothing bad happened an example will have to be made).

 I’m sure I’ll have more to say on this some other time, but

quotation. Oh, while I am at it I’ll mention that some sources report the
Russian age of consent as 14, so if it turns out he is banging these girls it
is probably legal. These links and quotes have been specifically chosen to
jump on the bandwagon and make it all look so… trashy.
