Ah, nothing like the smell of burning hearts and egos to make one look around
and go "damn, I want a burger!"
I’m gonna keep it short, but I want to say something because
anything that gets Flagg to post a simple, clear, straightforward post in
English is something worth commenting on. Of course, if you would prefer to read

Anyway, let’s be honest for a moment. Flagg stole a woman. He maybe
didn’t mean to at the beginning but we all sure as hell knew what was happening
by the end. I’d try and apologize for it – but I don’t see the need. Hell, I’ve
stolen a few women in my life and I sure as hell am not going to apologize for
that either.
Even now as I am having some issues holding onto an important person in my
life I still don’t moan to the fates about it all… because I
know the truth: If I am the biggest dog around I can hang onto anyone I want
to. The thing to do is stop looking for excuses and get your shit together. In fact, to
be brutally honest…
No one ‘steals’ your woman from you, you lose her.
Anyway, the young lady in question is a good person, and I know (because I
was there) that it was absolutely not her intention to get stolen… she acted
in good faith every single step of the way and when it became clear there was a
real division in her loyalties she informed everyone involved of that fact.
It doesn’t change a damn thing that some of the people she told it to
chose not to hear it.
Understandably, the people she left are hurt. They are lashing out and they
are looking to hurt her, hurt Flagg as much as they can. I understand their
feelings.
I just don’t see any reason to tolerate it.
- You’re hurting? You have my sympathies.
- You want to delude yourself about what happened? That’s fine by me.
- You want to try and attack people to make yourself feel better? I think
you might want to think again.
The [[wp:BDSM]] community, like many small and incestuous groups, is
notorious for its dramatic and public relationship flame outs. It is a fine
source of a kind of tedious melodrama and no doubt the final act of this little
opera will occur in some spectacularly stupid confrontation of political power,
popularity or sheer persuasiveness… almost certainly at the most embarrassing
possible time.
I doubt seriously Flagg will be first on stage for the final act, but I know for sure he
will be the one with the flowers when its all over.
