Ok… media moment here.
Honda (UK) – the add for the accord has some of the coolest commercial animation you will see. it is simply enthralling. Go look at it.
Wonderful Days (english) – this looks like it will be amazing. A great mix of 3D and cell/cell shaded animation with a great sense of motion and atmosphere. To be honest they have captured a large portion of the feel I am looking for in our project. Go see the trailer then go look at some clips of how they are making this thing.
Speaking of, Flagg and I did some brainstorming in the truck on Sunday and kicked ass… a total logjam breaker for me. Its not often you get to make a paradigm shift right back to elements of something you had all along. I now have a way to weave into the project a lot of the stuff I was missing – including a sense of the fantastical and ethereal while keeping a firm grounding. Way cool!
