The motivation for my earlier rant about the possible reasons behind the infighting and anger within the extreme feminist community came from the following threads. By the way, introducing our special guest forum “The Feminist Warbird“… think of it as something of a rival sibling to the Ms. boards… though who is the evil one depends on who you ask. This is nice because now we also get cross forum squabbling.
The Ms. Boards Interacting with generosity – I listed this thread first because it is the place where some folks are trying to have a constructive conversation about the difficulties and issues inside that highly insular community. Hopefully this will show that it’s not all a big pillow fight with bricks hidden inside. I hope the thread works out – because honestly those boards could be a great resource if those who use them as their own little playground would grow up.
The Ms. Boards IRL hounding out of the feminists – this thread started out as a exploration of the hassles feminists (obviously the extreme kind) face in the “real world”. A good topic. A productive topic. A topic doomed to collapse when the long knives come out. Quote of note:

The Ms. Boards Hounding out the feminists – the initial thread for this round. Pretty much a opening for a discussion of why there are communication problems and conflicts. Obviously it devolves into a scratching biting screaming mess of accusation and innuendo. 15 pages of it to be exact. This thread has been closed. Quote of note:

The Ms. Boards Hounding out the feminists II – at this point it’s 19 pages of infighting, personal attacks and conspiracy theories. Who’s female, who’s pretending to be female and who is not feminist enough. Gossip, anger, dredging up of the past and the public posting of private messages. Self destruction in that particular way only radical sub-groups can manage. This thread has now been closed. Quotes of note:
