| Happy D day 2 me! |
Wow, we are well into another week and things are moving fast. We are coming up on the week 2 milestone for client R and I have a good handle on it. I even wound up doing a small fast turn around job for them in between.
LPN went great! Thanks to having a little $$$ we wound up getting a hotel room for Saturday night. This way the [[girl2|girls]] could get changed without having to cram into a small room and we could relax a little. We ate some room service and generally treated ourselves better than we had in a little while.
Sunday was fathers day, and as midnight approached I realized how happy they make me, and how I want to be the best I can be for all of us… but I was contended in some ways as well. They looked great and we had fun with a little style. Not bad for a weekend 🙂
I like my birthday, and Christmas is nice, the anniversaries are OK and Valentines day goes well. Of all of them though Fathers Day is the one I like most. I don’t need cards or anything else. I just need a smile from my girls… and the feeling I get from being their Daddy.
Come what may, I’ll always be Daddy… and on weekends like this that’s enough to keep me going.
