Ok… the domain controller on our small local network here is reloaded under Windows Server 2003 and back in action. the workstations are re-set on the domain and the settings for our accounts are back in place.
The machine that will be our webserver is also loaded, next step tomorrow is to make sure our [[wp:DNS]] settings get moved the way we need them to be, and start bringing web domains home. A bunch we can do as early as tommorrow, some will have to wait a little longer.
We have another box to load with SQL Server and Exchange then we can bring our email local and some of the data driven sites. I’ll also have to load MySQL on that system.
All of this completely firewalled from the net except ports for [[wp:FTP]], [[wp:IRC]], [[wp:HTTP]] and [[wp:POP3]]/[[wp:SMTP]] of course. The servers with the cut outs sit in our ORANGE zone or [[wp:DMZ]] and there are no, zero, nada holes cut into our internal servers from either the net or the DMZ.
Ok… sleep time for me, Tatsumi will be coming by tomorrow, we are all gonna hit the mall then the [[girl2|girls]] and I will head out to a club tomorrow night.

P.S. it looks like Monday will see us into a $4,800 contract over 3-4 weeks with a new client, client “RP”. You’ll notice we have to go to two letters now ๐
