As those close to me know, I am pretty much a fan of [[wp:CMS]] systems. Something of a student of them. I have been looking into them for years now and I simply can’t find one that fits my needs.
Last week, I started a clean directory and began the coding of a CMS of my own. For a while I thought I was going to have to do two, one for work with my primary client, and one for our own work. The problem was that my client was on *nix [[e2:boxen]], and was limited to PHP. However a discussion with them over the weekend has indicated I may be able to convince them to go with a Windows server. That will allow me to do future work in .NET and build one good CMS.
