| Look ahead… |
All things considered this was an awesome weekend.
- I got to spend a nice evening with Tatsumi at a hotel, including a trip to the ice machine with a video camera and a very short skirt. The video is up on Girl2 for members.
- Flagg came over for a while. We don’t get a chance to hang out much and this was way cool. I went and saw Riddick again (that was my third time) and hit an arcade. All in all a good time and well worth spending a day on.
- I have been spending an hour or so a night recently reviewing movie information and [[wp:DVD]] production tracks. It has made for a lot of changes in some of my thought processes and that’s cool.
- I am still in shock that last week I purchased a yellow tie.
Check out the image above. It is a product from the folks at Daz3D that I am going to be using in a secret project of my own. OK, it’s not so secret. I am considering a revamp on Girl2. Something in a more “Charlie’s Angels” vein that will allow my voice to be a little more prominent over there. We did some of that when I became a contributor to the Arcanum section and spoke about events in their lives from my point of view and this is still in that vein.
Girl2 has never really been about making money. It is more a place for us to document the girls lives and what is happening to them. As their lives become somewhat more under Daddy’s influence I think it makes sense for me to play a somewhat larger role. That’s not to say it will be my site – it won’t… but I am going to be taking some of the burden off the girls for a while. Right now they feel like it is up to them to come up with content ideas, make decisions on photo shoots and editorial direction and so on – and I can help.
None of this is set in stone and this blog entry is the first time the girls have heard my thoughts. Don’t panic you two, you’ll have your input :: smiles :: I just think we can all agree a change would be nice ๐
The ability for experimentation and re-invention is one of the reasons that Girl2 is around and why we don’t just bow to trying to make it a cash cow. It’s our own playground and I am considering going to play a little.

ed. note: There are some good business reasons why I need to experiment with some things that are a perfect fit for Girl2. Instead of wasting time building a site that serves no purpose I think it is a good use of my time to work with that one don’t you? ๐
