In short, Kerry got all excited about a charge of missing explosives he couldn’t prove only to have it turn out we did exactly t he right thing. - Far from being incompetent, the US military turns out to have secured more than 200 tons of explosives from that site – almost exactlyw hat the UN claims was there – though conflicting UN reports make it impossible to square them for sure.
- It is clear that before the war, while under [[wp:IAEA]] seal explosives were going missing. The IAEA itself reported that is security was inadequate.
