Once a dick, always a dick!

Angry chix…

I just love it when all the chickens come home to roost. When you can look
into the fishbowl and see what happens when the steaming pile of silliness that
is "victim based society" really takes hold.

The steps to build your own insane
feminist ant farm are easy…

  1. Make a "womyns only" space
  2. Let "womyn" show up
  3. doesn’t matter, they’ll move on to step 4 anyway
  4. Watch them tear themselves apart with infighting

It’s really, really amusing. So here I bring you the latest sampler from the
smorgasbord of insanity that is the angry "radfem" world.

Serious penis envy

So it turns out that the same people who
deny the
concept of  genetic influence
over their lives and development have
come to a fairly startling conclusion.

If you ever had a penis you are now and always will be an evil, filthy man.
To claim that you might belong in
female spaces
is to them proof of your evil as it is a manifestation of how
you have internalized "male
privilege
". In other words, if you don’t crawl away like a good little
lapdogs the radical feminists get to ignore you out of hand for daring to stand
up to them.

Dude?

Now, don’t get me wrong. I think the idea that anyone who "self identifies as
female" should be instantly accepted by all other females and that they should
have no right to judge such things for themselves is similarly crazy.

"However, perhaps the more important question for Fest, and other
women-only space, is whether transwoman males are, in fact, exercising male
privilege against women by invading women-only space against the expressed
wishes of the vast majority of women in the space.

That is, can one lose male privilege as to other men, but retain it as
to women? I think the answer is yes. Transwoman males are but one example.
One right of male privilege is unfettered access to women. Males "becoming"
women through surgery and invasion of women-only space is but one practice
and embodiment of male access to women and, now, womanhood." –

foaming in context

Of course there is more and more of this sort of thing. I could quote it all
day but why? When someone really believes that sexual reassignment surgery is an
expression of a male urge to objectify and possess a women’s body then there
isn’t much room to talk. Then you come across a real gem of hatred… because if
being a male-to-female makes you an evil man then being a female-to-male makes
you a self loathing traitor!

"FTMs tend to wear the female insecurity and self-loathing they grew
up with right on their sleeve. The script they read from is a poor imitation
of genuine male self congratulatory love, power and privilege. So basically
FTMs are just misogynist, self loathing females that attempt to reject that
which they are in order to pass for that which they are not by mistakingly
thinking that all it takes in part to be a man is to act all rough and tough
and reject anything that is feminine and reduce, degrade and deminish their
own sex and ironically, themselves. My heart in a way goes out to FTMs but
I’m sorry. There is a world of difference between self love and self
loathing and one cannot pass for the other." –
even
more insights from the haters

Ah that nasty male privilege… always there to serve as an accusation
against anyone who disagrees with you. Fortunately there is some balance in the
world over there, and it comes from the
Indigo Girls
as shown in this

interview on the topic

One response to “Once a dick, always a dick!”

  1. Amy Ray takes a surprisingly balanced look at this. I personally believe separatists need thier space too. I’m a transsexual woman, I do not support the idea of Camp Trans. If us, as MTF’s want a women’s only music festival that accepts us as women, we certainly have the right to organize one, not neccesarily co-opt the second wave feminist festival.

The problem with Camp Trans, and overall transpeople in general, is the exact opposite idea from male privilege, in which, us, as the oppressed, should get and deserve anything we ask for, after all, we’re opressed. It reminds me of the Constitutional Peasant in Monty Python’s Holy Grail….

IMO, we should do something for ourselves for once. Nobody is “entitled”, everyone has to work for what they want, and everyone has the right to do it themselves. MWMF may have stupid policy in my personal opinion, but I defend thier right to thier own space.

Thanks for posting this, I always love reading your views on radical (second wave) feminism. As a transfeminist, third wave feminist, and as a sex freedom activist, I find your views to at least be very practical.
