If you have the latest DivX codec installed
(and you should, version 6 kicks ass) then be aware that it interacts badly with
a mall bug in the latest nVidia drivers (77.2 at this moment). The drivers ship
with their video playback gamma setting all messed up.

you aware there is a bug with display driver 77.2. Go to display properties
and click overlay and notice the gamma slider is set to 6.0 the *normal*
setiing is 1.0 from the drop down menu select "ALL" and hit the "restore
defaults" button to reset to 1.0 and your vids should now be OK!" –
