Let’s talk riots…
“In America, where there are so many cars, this kind of unrest could last for months,” de Villepin said. “But here in France, with our low levels of productivity and high unemployment, there just isn’t that much to destroy in the first place.” – more words from French rioters
Now let’s talk idiocy in Kansas…
“The Kansas school board has just changed the definition of a word. In keeping with that idea, I would like to propose that the definition of the word “rainbow” be changed. My Oxford American Dictionary describes the word rainbow as “an arch of colors formed in the sky in certain circumstances, caused by the refraction and dispersion of the sun’s light by rain or other water droplets in the atmosphere.” However, that definition is a bit too sciencey for my liking. Since science can now include explanations outside of natural phenomena, then another completely valid scientific explanation for the word rainbow could be “A token of the covenant between God and man.” – this is so sad
