Let’s take a fast tour through the wacky world of extreme feminism<\/a>. it is always amusing, and always worth a little time.<\/p>\n

The Ms. Boards Why Can’t Feminism Be for All Women<\/a> – this is a pretty interesting thread. One would think it obvious that “feminism” is something that was intended to benefit all women… but you would be wrong. Feminism is really only for those women with the “right” thoughts. “[[wp:goodthink]]” is to be rewarded, “[[wp:badthink]]” is to be punished. Here are some tidbits<\/p>\n

“Yes, of course, I make that distinction. I choose the word “hate” because that’s precisely what men feel towards woman regardless of how much they may bleat, “Oh, but I love women,” because what they love is their contructs and idealizations of “woman.” Actual women and anything<\/i> female (for instance, Mother Nature), they hate and fear. Their very notion of “maleness” hinges on how successfully they have destroyed any hint of female characteristics in themselves (must cut those apron strings to be a real man).<\/p>\n

“Contempt” just does not do justice to the depth and breadth of thousands of years of fear and loathing, mostly unconscious but getting more overt everyday, in the undeclared war against women. It’s not called “contempt crimes,” but “hate crimes,” for good reason. “Contempt” just does not convey the malice and abhorance men have for women and anything even hinting of femaleness. “My<\/b> kind? My kind is WOMEN. All<\/b> women, everywhere, all the time. White people hate people of color? Well, stop the god damn presses; late breakin’ news. But why is that? I’ll tell you why: Sexism. Period. It is the root oppression from which all others spring. It is the male protection racket, male husbandry of their women, their flock, to insure that only their kind is reproduced, kept pure of any other kind; the enemy’s kind, who they feminize in order to dehuMANize.<\/p>\n

I will not be diverted from focusing on sexism by supporting any of the boy’s clubs of race, class, religion or government whose cornerstones are the domination of women; their very reason for existing. e.d. note, Mar Iguana seems to also use “cock” as a curse term. The phrase “a flying cock” comes up often. Me? I think she’s obsessed.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I came here because a coworker talks often about some of the topics on the boards, so I came a couple of months ago and just read some of the threads. I feel like many of the women, that post here anyway, would like to control my choices as a woman, as much, in some cases, even more than men would. So what if I work out at a gym because I want to look good? I like it when men notice me..hell I notice them too. If a woman wants to be in a porn movie, that’s her choice, and if I want to watch it with my boyfriend, that’s mine. I’m not at all interested in changing one task master for another.
