(X-Lite is fine)<\/li>\n<li>Use Virtual PC and fire up an install of <a href=\"http:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/asteriskathome\/\">Asterisk @ Home<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/geekgazette.com\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=45&amp;Itemid=26\">VMWare free player is fine if you follow these instructions<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Follow the Asterisk @ Home handbook, and install the software and create at least one extension.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/asteriskathome.sourceforge.net\/handbook\/index.html#Section_4.1.1\">Connect X-Lite and Asterisk<\/a>, make sure the echo test (*43) works<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/voipspeak.net\/index.php?\/content\/view\/19\/28\/\">Add the Gizmo Project account as an incoming and outgoing trunk<\/a>. Remember you ONLY GET 25 cents of free time for outgoing calls&#8230; so test fast unless you want to pay (1 cent a minute).
