Anyway, i started reading and found out that it is pretty long in the tooth with two challengers that are fighting it out to replace it. I listed them below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/B00004WZON\">Sony DCRVX2000<\/a>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/B00006FXHQ\/\">Cannon GL2<\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is a <b><i>lot<\/i><\/b> of drama out there on the web about this stuff, but in the end I think I would get the Cannon GL2. Even CNET <a href=\"http:\/\/reviews.cnet.com\/4520-6500_7-5073412.html\">likes the GL2<\/a> though it is extremely close with the DCRVX2000. There looks to be some advantages in it&#8217;s 16:9 output format and the automatic features of the camera.
