You can find an awesome distillation of the debate that says, in plain English, sort of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qando.net\/details.aspx?Entry=243\">what the two candidates actually meant during the debate<\/a>. Take it tongue in cheek but it&#8217;s more accurate than you might want it to be.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s really amusing to see how hard Kerry is pulling to the right trying to make sure you don&#8217;t mind voting for him. I mean here is a <b><i>democratic<\/i><\/b> candidate who holds the following positions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anti abortion<\/li>\n<li>Anti gay marriage<\/li>\n<li>Openly religious<\/li>\n<li>Wants to add two divisions to the military<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I mean, what kind of bizzaro-verse do we live in here? Now, you can&#8217;t actually believe anything Kerry says, because in addition to being a lying weasel he also is happy to try and hold every position on every topic. So I put together a little chart here&#8230;<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<table width=\"512\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<th width=\"95\">Topic<\/th>\n<th>Bush<\/th>\n<th width=\"203\">Kerry<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th vAlign=\"top\" align=\"right\" width=\"95\">Iraq:<\/th>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\">\n<ul>\n<li>It was the right move. <\/li>\n<li>We are making progress. <\/li>\n<li>It was never going to be easy. <\/li>\n<li>Fuck everyone who didn&#8217;t like our choices.<\/li>\n<li>We must not fail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\" width=\"203\">\n<ul>\n<li>It was the wrong move. <\/li>\n<li>I voted for it. <\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t hold me to all that stuff I said during my campaign to be nominated. <\/li>\n<li>We are failing. <\/li>\n<li>I will beg the other guys to help us &#8211; that will win respect. <\/li>\n<li>We must not fail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th vAlign=\"top\" align=\"right\" width=\"95\">Terrorism:<\/th>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do what we need to do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\" width=\"203\">\n<ul>\n<li>Do what we need to do.<\/li>\n<li>As long as France will like it.<\/li>\n<li>Oh, and Germany.<\/li>\n<li>Oh and everyone else.. remember they all know better than I do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th vAlign=\"top\" align=\"right\" width=\"95\">Abortion:<\/th>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\">\n<ul>\n<li>I don&#8217;t like it.<\/li>\n<li>I think we should fund as many alternatives as we can.<\/li>\n<li>Late term partial birth abortion is vicious and I stopped it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\" width=\"203\">\n<ul>\n<li>I don&#8217;t like it.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ll stay out of the legal stuff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th vAlign=\"top\" align=\"right\" width=\"95\">Taxes:<\/th>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\">\n<ul>\n<li>If you leave the people who create jobs more money, they will create jobs.<\/li>\n<li>The top 20% already pay 80% of the taxes, what version of &#8220;fair&#8221; are you using?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td vAlign=\"top\" align=\"left\" width=\"203\">\n<ul>\n<li>The rich are evil bastards.
