More complicated than you

think…

Here we are a bit over a full week after the election and I am still amused

as all hell. My guy won, the idiot lost and as a result my nation is busily

doing what we need to do to secure our security for the next century. Speaking

of security, it was 15 years ago yesterday that the Berlin Wall came down and

our previous great enemy crumbled.

If you listen to the left these days you will immediately realize that I am

an ignorant, racist, homophobic slave owner (ok, that parts true) who has been

corrupted by the evil [[e2:Jedi]] mind tricks of [[wp:Dick Cheney]] while I doze

under my tractor and plot ways to ruin trade unions and dream of cheap oil mixed

with Arab blood.

At least, that’s what they tell themselves to ease the pain while they wait for counseling. I’d mention that maybe I

am none of those things, but what the hell… they’re probably moving to Canada

anyway.

“I had one friend tell me he’s never been so depressed and angry in his

life,” Schooler said. “I observed patients threatening to leave the country or

staring listlessly into space. They were emotionally paralyzed, shocked and

devastated,” he told the daily.

“We’re calling it ‘post-election selection trauma’ and we’re working to

develop a counseling program for it,” said Rob Gordon, the Boca Raton-based

executive director of the American Health Association” – quote in context (hat

tip CQ) –

Some of them never did have much stomach for a hard fight, that’s why they

supported [[wp:Kerry]] in the first place. God, it must such to wake up and

realize how totally out of touch you are. Speaking of which…

“Some of us — hopefully most of us — are trying to understand and

appreciate the effect our recent election will have on you, the citizens of the

rest of the world. As our so-called leaders redouble their efforts to screw you

over, please remember that some of us — hopefully most of us — are truly, truly

sorry. And we’ll say we’re sorry, even on the behalf of the ones who aren’t.” –

from “Sorry

Everybody”

I’ll have more to say on all of this later including posting somee of my

mailing list posts… for now, enjoy the pretty Red/Blue map and realize that

it’s not all as clear as the elitist left would want you to believe as they
snivel and
