As I was surfing the net tonight I came across some information about ab workouts. Specifically how much and why the “crunch” and sit-ups suck. I was looking into alternatives primarily because regular sit ups make my ass hurt. The thing is since my Sensei is very old school I do need to be able to do them, so this poses a dilemma.<\/p>\n
Fortunately, it loosk leik alternative excercises nto only will save my back and my tailbone but are more effective than the regular sit up or crunvh in increasing the strength of my abdominals. That will allow me to perform better at the dojo.<\/p>\n
When you look at the top 10 excercises for abs and obliques<\/a> one stands out as being almost perfect in each case… the “bicycle”.
