In the meantime&#8230; here it is fast and furious.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flagg blogged. I am so happy! You should go <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foolish-house.com\/bigtop\/innuendo\/index.html\">read it<\/a>.\n<li>I am <i>addicted<\/i> to watching the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.olympics.com\/\">Olympics<\/a>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcolympics.com\/\">NBC<\/a> coverage is pretty good and the time delay can go stuff itself &#8216;mate. There is just something about the drama that penetrates even this cold and calloused heart of mine. One of the highlights of all of it is seeing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcolympics.com\/?\/bios\/sw\/hymanmis\/hymanmisbio_01.html\">someone<\/a> win who really seemed to appreciate it. In a world of stuck up people, that is always good. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcolympics.com\/?\/features\/sw\/2000\/09\/ss_221\/ss_221_1.html\">upset in swimming<\/a> is an example of this.\n<li>Some of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcolympics.com\/?\/bios\/sw\/hymanmis\/hymanmisbio_01.html\">girls<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.olympics.com\/\">Olympics<\/a> are damn cute! Young, cute, passionate and capable of a level of dedication that would stagger most people&#8230; I wonder if they know about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-estate.com\">The Estate<\/a>?\n<li>I have gotten most of the network running here and it is looking good. I will do a longer post on how we have it set up but in short form&#8230; We are hiding a private network behind a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netgear.com\/products\/rt311ds.shtml\">Netgear RT311<\/a>[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hardwarecentral.com\/hardwarecentral\/reviews\/1748\/1\/\">review<\/a>] <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everything2.com\/index.pl?node=router\">router<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.everything2.com\/index.pl?node=gateway\">gateway<\/a> box. It does <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everything2.com\/index.pl?node=firewall\">firewalling<\/a> for us and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.everything2.com\/index.pl?node=nat\">NAT<\/a>, allowing us to run as many devices as we want on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.home.net\">cable connection<\/a> we have here. That private network is using the 192.168.x.x subnet for nice secure non routeable communications. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windows2000\/guide\/server\/overview\/\">Windows2000 Advanced Server<\/a> systems are running it all, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windows2000\/guide\/professional\/overview\/\">Windows2000 Professional<\/a> systems as the workstations. We have one remaining <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redhat.com\">RedHat<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linux.org\">Linux<\/a> box running <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sendmail.org\">sendmail<\/a>.\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tatsumi-girl.com\">Tatsumi<\/a> is all settled in her new apartment and is running <a href=\"http:\/\/www.live365.com\">audio<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.webcam32.com\">video<\/a> on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.girl2.com\">Girl2<\/a> site so you can see it if ya want too. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kimiko-dreams.com\">Kimiko<\/a> is also live on the web at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.girl2.com\">Girl2<\/a>.\n<li>I got a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/products\/hardware\/mouse\/optical.htm\">new mouse<\/a>, my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/products\/hardware\/mouse\/intellieye.htm\">old one<\/a> bit the dust. I like it, though it is taking some getting used to. I keep looking at the really <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/products\/hardware\/mouse\/explorer.htm\">fancy one<\/a> but it is a little too large for my taste. I am a fingertip mouse kind of guy&#8230; now if only they made a cordless version!\n<li>I am getting ready to reload my box&#8230; I can&#8217;t help it. Even though Win2K doesn&#8217;t need to be de-loused the way <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windows98\/\">Win98<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windowsme\/\">WinME<\/a> did, I just tend to install a lot of weird stuff and it is often useful for me to burn it down. Fortunately I have enough disk space on my servers to just back it all up.\n<li>I haven&#8217;t had a chance to discuss my views on the whole napster thing &#8211; but it is cool that the &#8220;bare naked ladies&#8221; are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2000\/TECH\/computing\/09\/18\/trojan.music\/index.html\">fighting back<\/a>.\n<li>Not only is the name cool, but the first Linux CD-ROM I ever got was from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yggdrasil.com\/\">these guys<\/a>.\n<li>I got a lot of great feedback on my recent feminism rant (<i>on the topic of expanding fea<\/i>r), and I will be answering it ASAP, as well as discussing some of the points raised here.
