The Britney<\/a> concert rocked. Totally.<\/p>\n

Maybe I am a tool… OK, I know I am a tool of the media but I think the show was really good. Let’s take moment to address the question everyone is thinking…<\/p>\n

Q:<\/b> Did Britney lip-sync her songs?
A:<\/b> I don’t know, I never got as high as her mouth \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Seriously. Yeah, it looks like some of the songs involved her lip-synching at least some of the time… but to be honest with you it doesn’t bother me. I know it’s her voice ont he album, and I know she can sing (well enough for me anyway) and from watching her dance I don’t know that anyone could do both all the time. So sometimes she danced and lip-synched. Big deal.<\/p>\n

On the other hand – a lot of it was live. And that rocked too \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The crowd was what you would expect – the vast majority were girls int heir early teens who screamed an average of 47 times a minute. Just for fun I had Kimiko scream for no reason and all the girls near us screamed too… even though they didn’t know why. This amuses me<\/i>.<\/p>\n

There were a lot, I mean a lot<\/i><\/b> of amazingly hot teens there. Many of them even legal<\/a>. I tell you, it must be an amazingly…. useful<\/i> job to be a guard there – to have the power to grant or appear to grant extra access or favors.<\/p>\n

Anyway – one of the things that stuck out in my mind was how many parents were there, and that they were happy to be there. After the concert it was clear why. Britney might be a little older now, and definately not afraid of using her looks to their best advantage but it wasn’t slutty or dirty. It was sdtill conveying a good message… that a girl can be anything she wants, that she needs to be assertive of her desires but understand that she is young and doesn’t know everything.<\/p>\n

This is a powerfully good thing for the screaming teen girls to hear – and something their parents can support.<\/p>\n
